Which is the Greatest Commandment?Mark 12:28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Yeshua had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?" Mark 12:29 "The most important one," answered Yeshua, "is this: `Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' 31 The second is this: `Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
Luke 10:25-28 [25] On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Yeshua. "Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?" [26] "What is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?" [27] He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind' ; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" [28] "You have answered correctly," Yeshua replied. "Do this and you will live."
Matthew 7:12 "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets."
